Mara Squicciarini

Mara Squicciarini is an Associate Professor in the Economics Department at Bocconi University. She received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Leuven and she has been a Postdoctoral Researcher at Northwestern University and a Visiting Scholar at Harvard, Stanford, and UCLA. Her research interests are in economic history and political economy. Her research has appeared in journals such as the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics and Science. She also co-edited the book the “Economics of Chocolate” (Oxford University Press).
